With the aim to enhance the strength and visibility of Ukraine’s biotechnology research sector, the US-Ukraine Foundation Biotech Initiative will provide grants of up to $3,000 to Ukrainian biotechnology researchers for the purpose of travel that contributes to their professional growth, enhances their and Ukraine's reputation in the field of biotechnology and encourages scientific collaboration and technology commercialization. Awards may be used for travel to conferences, courses or workshops, or to engage in other professional development activities.
Recipients are selected on a competitive basis by a review committee in the US.

Anticipated Total Available Funding: $30,000
Anticipated Number of Awards: Up to 10
Anticipated Award Amount: Up to $3,000 per awardee
Application Due Date: June 14, 2019, 12:00 EST (19:00 Kyiv time).
