The International Conference on Surfaces, Coatings and Interfaces - SurfCoat Korea 2021 was a three-day event from May 26 to 28, 2021 conducted through the Whova virtual event platform.  The platform allowed participants to create their own event calendar to provide quick access to the conference. The event consisted of a poster session and an oral presentation session.

The conference was well-organized and filled with high-level content. It provided information on recent advances, current problems, and developments in the state-of-the-art fields of surfaces, coatings, and interfaces engineering.

We presented our scientific work "Electrolyte for bath with phosphate and fluorine for low-energy coatings PEO on biodegradable materials based on Mg" in poster form. The platform allowed participants to download posters and abstracts. The system provided a continuous rotation of the poster session.

I had the opportunity to get acquainted with the conference materials in advance and ask questions to the participants. This provided opportunities for us to exchange our novel ideas and experiences with other participants face-to-face. The new knowledge and contacts will be used to develop our scientific activity, write new projects and papers.

We are very proud to have had the opportunity to present our achievements and Ukraine at the international level.
