With the aim of contributing to the success of young scientists of Ukraine and enhancing the visibility of the country's biotechnology sector, the US-Ukraine Foundation Biotech Initiative will provide grants to help defray the cost of publication of articles in international, peer-reviewed science journals.
Grant applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until funds have been fully allocated, and reviewed within two weeks of submission.
Maximum grant amount: $3,000
The grant in the amount of the publication fee will be paid directly to the journal.
-Biotechnology researcher under the age of 45 currently residing in Ukraine
-Lead author of an English-language article that has been submitted, peer-reviewed and accepted for publication at time of application
