Ukraine's newly established National Research Foundation (NRFU) will become the largest funding body in the country to support scientific activities of all researchers, independent of their affiliations. This support will be provided in the form of research grants, awarded on the basis of independent peer review.
Moving away from the common practice in Ukraine of research proposals being reviewed only by Ukrainian reviewers, the NRFU Supervisory Board seeks the help of international experts in its evaluation of submitted proposals as well as the scientific activities at research institutions and universities.
They invite all international scientists willing to act as potential Referees for NRFU to register by filling out the online form on their site.
While the NRFA Supervisory Board understands that experts' efforts and time should be compensated, it is extremely unlikely that relevant costs will be available in 2019.
The NRFU is in the organizational phase and is expected to become operational in the second half of 2019.
