With the aim to enhance the strength and visibility of Ukraine’s biotechnology research sector, the US-Ukraine Foundation Biotech Initiative will provide grants of up to $3,000 to Ukrainian biotechnology researchers for the purpose of travel that contributes to their professional growth, enhances their and Ukraine's reputation in the field of biotechnology, encourages scientific collaboration and technology commercialization.
Awards may be used for travel to conferences, courses or workshops, trade shows and conventions, or to engage in other professional and commercial development activities.
Recipients are selected on a competitive basis by a review committee in the US.
*Please note that US visa processing for scientific researchers can take up to 2 months or more. If you are applying for an activity in the US and do not have a valid US visa, the activity must take place no sooner than June 2020 to allow sufficient time for visa processing.

Anticipated Number of Awards: Up to 10
Anticipated Award Amount: Up to $3,000 per awardee
