The conference Immunogenomics of Disease: Accelerating to Patient Benefit (10 - 12 February 2021, Wellcome Genome Campus, UK) was a great experience for me. Definitely, it gave me new knowledge of immunogenomics. Scientists working in molecular immunology and immune-mediated disease genetics reported recent findings an immunogenomics and I was impressed with suggested ways to implement the genetic discoveries to benefit patient health.
The meeting highlighted the importance of high-quality genomic data in a diverse range of topics. Something that impressed me more was a piece of information about the role of the microbiome in immune responses and epigenetic mechanisms.
I am glad I had the opportunity to attend such a very interesting event.
